When I was a kid, I dreamed of the day I could be a Boy Scout. I don’t know if it was the uniform, the camping, the friendships or a thousand other reasons, but I was hooked! Scouting taught me the value of providing service to others and reinforced core ethical values that helped me in school and life. My scouting experience provided opportunities that not only helped me as a kid but carried into my adulthood. I am an Eagle Scout and rank this among the achievements I am most proud of and have helped me the most in my career.

When your kid is involved in a group, team or club, they are typically more engaged at school and research shows they have a higher sense of well-being. Our area Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts will be hosting separate events to allow your child to know more about their groups. If your child isn’t currently involved in group, club or team, here is your chance to have something they can call their own.
